History

Campion School is named after Edmund Campion (1540-1581), a renowned Oxford scholar, academician and an orator, above all a Saint. As Edmund Campion, all Campions are urged to be unsawed in truth-truth in though and action, and beat the untrodden path of rectitude and integrity. Campion school was established in 1989 with a significant vision. It is one of the earliest CBSE affiliated Senior Secondary Schools in Cochin. It is named after Edmund Campion, a Jesuit saint who lived in the period between 1540-1581. Campion was begun by Dr. K.V Thomas, the founding Director and Dr. Leelama Thomas the founding Principal of the institution who is now its Dean. Campion school was commenced with its Kindergarten School and Lower Primary school in the earst while rented building and later shifted to its present site. It got, is composite affiliation in 1993 and later in 1995 its up-gradation from the CBSE New Delhi. It celebrated its 25th year silver jubilee in the year 2014.

In 1989 itself its founder Director sketched its school logo with motto, Truth, Beauty and Love. Its first design was changed to the present form in 2014, its Silver Jubilee Year.
